Who this is

This site is run by Gargus Wood Floors, owner George W. Gargus III, Oregon CCB #64992, serving Southern Oregon. Using the site means you accept the terms on this page. If you do not, please just call (541) 840-1461 instead.

An estimate request is a request

Sending the form starts a conversation. It is not a contract, it is not a price, and it is not a booking. Nothing on this site is an offer that you can accept to form an agreement. George decides which jobs he takes on, and he cannot guarantee that he is free on any particular date until he has said so directly.

A real price comes after George has seen the floor. Any figure discussed before that is a rough idea, not a quote. Any actual quote or contract for work is a separate written agreement between you and Gargus Wood Floors, and that agreement governs the work, not this website.

What is on the pages

The descriptions of installation, refinishing, repair, stairs, tile, stone and epoxy explain the kind of work done and the general process. They are not a specification for your floor. Species, patterns, finishes, materials and lead times all depend on what is available and on what your subfloor and rooms actually allow. We try to keep the pages accurate and current and we may change them at any time without notice.

Photographs

Photographs of finished floors on this site are of work done by Gargus Wood Floors, except where a photograph is marked "Example image". The images on the epoxy page are licensed stock photographs from Pexels used to illustrate what a poured epoxy or resin finish looks like. They are not photographs of work done by Gargus Wood Floors. All photographs on this site, labelled or not, are illustrative: no two floors are alike, and the colour of a finish on a screen is not a match sample.

Content ownership

The text, photographs of our own work, layout and logo on this site belong to Gargus Wood Floors. Please do not copy or republish them without asking. The licensed stock photographs belong to their photographers under the Pexels licence.

The form

The estimate form is delivered by FormSubmit, a third-party service at https://formsubmit.co/, which forwards your entries to us by email. Their terms apply to that step and we do not control their service. Please do not send anything sensitive through the form, and please do not use it to send unsolicited advertising. Automated submissions are filtered and discarded.

Availability of the site

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be reachable or error free, and we are not liable for loss arising from using it or from being unable to use it. This does not limit any liability that cannot be limited under Oregon law, and it says nothing about our responsibility for flooring work performed under a signed agreement, which is covered by that agreement and by our Oregon CCB registration.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of law rules, and any dispute about this website belongs in the state or federal courts serving Jackson County, Oregon.
