The floor

What an epoxy floor is

Epoxy is a resin that goes down as a liquid. The concrete underneath is cleaned and prepared first.

Then the resin is spread over the slab and left to cure. It hardens onto the concrete and becomes the floor.

No boards, no grout lines, no joints for dirt to collect in.

The surface does not soak up oil or water, it stands up to traffic, and it washes down with a mop.

Where it fits

Garages, shops and commercial spaces

A garage or a home shop is the common one. The slab already takes vehicles, tools and spills, and epoxy gives it a surface that can handle that and be cleaned off afterwards.

Commercial rooms are the other side of it. Anywhere a concrete floor gets heavy use and needs to be washed rather than swept around.
