Who this is
This site belongs to Gargus Wood Floors, owner George W. Gargus III, Oregon CCB #64992, serving Southern Oregon. Reach us at (541) 840-1461 or georgegarguswoodfloors@gmail.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the estimate form: your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, the type of work you picked from the list, and whatever you write in the details box. Nothing else on this site collects anything about you.
If you call or email instead, we have your phone number or email address because you used it.
How the form is sent
The estimate form is handled by FormSubmit, a third-party form service at https://formsubmit.co/. When you press send, your entries go to FormSubmit, and FormSubmit forwards them by email to georgegarguswoodfloors@gmail.com. FormSubmit handles the message in transit and its own privacy terms apply to that step. We do not run a database on this site and there is no login of any kind.
Stopping spam
The form has a hidden field that a person never sees or fills in, and it checks that the form was not completed faster than a human could type. Both are there to throw out automated junk. If a real message ever gets caught by either check, call (541) 840-1461 instead.
What this site does not do
No analytics. No cookies are set by this site. No tracking pixels, no advertising, no remarketing, no social media widgets. There are no user accounts and no payments are taken here. The fonts are served from this site itself, so no font provider sees your visit. There are no third-party scripts, players, maps or other embeds on any page.
What we do with it
We read it, and we get back to you about your flooring project. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell your details, rent them, trade them, or add you to a mailing list. We do not pass them to anyone other than the form service described above, unless the law requires it.
Where it lives
Once forwarded, your message sits in the business email inbox like any other email, and in whatever notes George keeps about the job. Our web host records ordinary server request logs the way every web server does; we do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
Your choices
Using the form is optional. You can simply call instead and say as much or as little as you want. If you would like to know what we hold about you, or you want your enquiry deleted, call (541) 840-1461 or email georgegarguswoodfloors@gmail.com and ask.
Children
This is a flooring contractor's website. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this site ever gains something that collects more than the form does, this page gets updated before that happens, and the date at the top changes.
